MEET JESSICA
Jessica Caloza is a renter, women’s rights advocate, a proud immigrant, and the daughter of working-class parents running for Assembly to fight for all working families. In the Assembly, Jessica will invest in public education, support small businesses, protect a woman’s right to choose, reduce the cost of living, and take bold action on the climate crisis. She worked for President Obama helping underfunded public schools and served as a L.A. Public Works Commissioner, where she expanded good-paying union jobs, raised wages for workers, and required equal pay for women.At the California Department of Justice, Jessica has worked to reduce crime and gun violence, helped survivors of sexual assault receive justice, and taken bold action to protect the environment. Jessica is supported by teachers, nurses, Planned Parenthood, the California Federation of Labor Unions, and the California Democratic Party — because she will invest in working families and the middle class.
